The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women organized a Faculty Orientation Programme titled “MoE Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Activities and Portal Uploading Procedures” on 9 June 2026. The session was led by Dr. Sangeetha Manoj, Assistant Professor and Head – B.B.A Shift I, and IIC Convenor, M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women (Autonomous).

Dr. Sangeetha provided valuable insights into the objectives and initiatives of the MoE’s Institution’s Innovation Council, emphasizing effective strategies for planning, documenting, and reporting innovation activities. Faculty members also benefited from hands-on training in portal uploading procedures, enabling them to ensure accurate and timely submission of IIC related tasks.

The B.Com Marketing Management Programme, successfully hosted an Alumnae Chronicles Series on the theme: “Beyond Boundaries: The Diverse World of Marketing Management” on June 18, 2026 for the I year students.
We were delighted to welcome our distinguished alumna, Ms. Sruthakeerthi Mohan Ram, Executive Director, Forensics Intelligence Surveillance and Security Technologies (FISST Academy) (B.Com MM Batch 2011-14) as the Star Alumna Speaker.
Drawing from her unique professional journey, Ms. Sruthakeerthi shared valuable insights on the diverse career pathways available to marketing graduates, the importance of adaptability, leadership, and interdisciplinary learning in today’s dynamic business environment.

The B.Sc. Computer Science programme organized an Alumna Talk on June 18, 2026, featuring Ms. Aishwaria C, Senior Analyst at Tiger Analytics and a distinguished alumna of B.Sc. Computer Science. In her address, Ms. Aishwaria guided students through her professional journey — from her formative academic years at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, to her role as a Data Analyst at LatentView Analytics, and her current position at Tiger Analytics, where she leads advanced data analytics initiatives.

The Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the MathTech Thinking Foundation (MTTF), organized a three-day International Online Seminar on “Python & R Programming for Data Analytics and Scientific Computing” from June 16–18, 2026. The seminar brought together eminent speakers — Dr. Mehar Chand, Dr. Prayas Sharma, Dr. Harmanpreet Singh Kapoor, and Prof. Zaved Khan — who delivered six comprehensive sessions over the course of three days. The programme concluded with a Valedictory Session presided over by Ms. Ramani B, Head of the Department of Mathematics, who commended the dedicated efforts of the organizers, resource persons, and participants in making the seminar a success.
