6.Have women characters in sanskrit literature been the actual game changers of the course of the epics?

Hello everyone, The Department of Sanskrit invites you all to attend a guest lecture by Dr.V.Soumyanarayanan, Head, Department of Sanskrit, D.G. Vaishnav College For Men,on the topic "Dramatic Skills of Bhasa."It will take place on Wednesday,the 22nd of February 2017,in the C.C Block Conference Hall at 12:00 PM.

The department of Sanskrit, Stella Maris College and the Kalakriti club are very happy to announce that their Sanskrit intercollegiate competition " कलाकृति 2016 " will be taking place in Room M01, on September 3rd from 9:30 AM onwards! All are welcome to watch!

Hello, everyone! There has been a slight change in the timings for the logo designing competition, which will take place at the Oat-
For Shift 1, the event will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
For Shift 2, the event will take place from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm.

Update on the Logo competition: Participants are allowed to create a digital version of their logo, by bringing their laptops and designing one at the venue, as well. Same time limit is applicable to them! Hence, you can either sketch your idea on a paper and submit it, or submit a digital logo. Hope to see you all on thursday!

Hello, everyone! The Kalakriti club of Stella Maris College is holding a logo designing competition as its first event of the year, on Thursday, the 14th of July, at 12:00 pm for both Shift 1 and 2 at the oat! The theme of the logo is ' A culmination of art forms' and the winning entry will be chosen as the club's official logo for the year,2016-2017.Do keep in mind that the winning logo will be made into a digital form. Participation is open to everyone and we hope to see you all on thursday!
Rules-
1. Participants are required to bring their own art material, paper will be provided
2. The time limit for the event is one hour
3. The logo has to be sketched out and use of art materials such as sketch pens, colour pencils and crayons is permitted.
