Our children are priceless and no matter what it takes for the overall growth and development of each child, social, emotional and physical development we ensure we work hard to make each child feels safe, secure and happy at Rosedale.

Be it playtime, excercise and group activity, artwork and creative time, we make sure the children enjoy every session and beautiful memories are made.

We, at Rosedale strive to be better each day. Preschool/ nursery/ kindergarten, is an educational establishment that offers early childhood education to children between 2 and a half to 3 and a half years of age.
Rosedale is not a franchise nor is it associated with any brand of preschool, be it international or otherwise. We are a brand by ourselves, our curriculum and activity for all our preschool and kindergarten children is carefully thought of and planned in such a way, we make sure that every day spent in rosedale is a beautiful memory the children will hold close to their heart for a long, long time.
The faculty is of prime importance in a preschool. They have to instill confidence in the children, should NOT expect any code of conduct, all the children should be declared winners before they start their game and they should be made to feel as kings and queens, could be made possible by bending the rules of the classroom.
As the school year progresses, children will grow in body and mind and will start paying attention to friends around them. Rules can be presented as subtly as possible and mistakes can be corrected.
It is of prime importance that we do not silence their voice, instead we should give them wings to fly to carve out a niche for themselves in the years to follow.

We, at Rosedale preschool firmly believe in the above. We try and involve the children as much as we can in the three hours they spend with us everyday. All kids need today is a little help in whatever activity they choose to do, a good friend they can go to anytime, could be for a hug or for a word of encouragement or to somebody who believes in them.

We have opened up admissions for VIjayadasami. We are a year old.

We believe we are not teachers alone ,but we are managers of the worlds greatest resource - children!

We are open from 9 a.m-1p.m and then from 4 p.m-7 p.m.

Together may we give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly.

Rosedale Preschool, Annanagar held their annual Drawing & Colouring competition on Saturday, the 14th of July for children in the age group 4-10 years. Children from different schools took part most eagerly
and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the way they enjoyed themselves. Crayons in one hand and a water bottle around their neck, children trooped in, and took their place. There were 3 groups and over 28 kids took part. Prizes were distributed and gifts for all were handed out. At the end of it all, it was a day well spent.
This year was more of a colour riot on paper than the previous year. “EVERY CHILD IS AN ARTIST” and their IMAGINATION, just beautiful.
More than anything else, we want children to meet other children, make new friends, communicate freely and above all develop new skills and gain confidence- their way.

It’s been a month since our school reopened and our Rosedale Family has started growing. Every new pre-school has its own share of challenges but we march onward with a positive spirit. All we want at the end of the day is to see our children start and end their day with a big smile. Asha, my teacher plays a supportive role and ensures that on a Friday children take home a special craft designed and created by her, today our children took home a paper basket with a chocolate inside. How cute is that!
At Rosedale we strive hard to see that our children are happy and safe but most importantly, love coming to school. Here’s looking forward to a new academic year, nurturing young minds and creating a vibrant learning community.

Another week to go and our new children will walk in to Rosedale for the academic year 2018 - 2019. After a short summer break, all of us, teaching and non- teaching staff are refreshed and refuelled to greet our little ones and meet the Parents and families of all our children.

This year we have new surprises and add-ons for each kid that walks in. We have reworked our curriculum with special one on one sessions to make education a happy experience.

Each session of ours- has playtime, music, story/activity/puzzle time and of course some form of craft to end the day.

Summer camp at Rosedale, 10 days of unlimited fun. Our children had a blast cutting , sticking , pasting , painting , nofire cooking, learning more about their city and country, well worth it, all the effort! kudos to my teacher Asha for all her efforts.

What I’ve learnt in the past few months is that opening a preschool is a big challenge with international franchises spread all over chennai. Rosedale had to be unique.

At Rosedale, the syllabus has been put together through a lot of trial and error through my 19 years of experience in Preschool education. Rosedale preschool syllabus is activity based and involves parents at every step of their foundational years.

A child’s mind is like a sponge, as early educators it is our responsibility to ensure that our little children absorb strong ideas and values that would help them grow. Interaction in our preschool helps in language development. Enjoying the process of learning is extremely crucial in our school, we nurture curious minds as they are our innovators of tomorrow. Phonetics, Balance and stability are part of our Activity based curriculum.

Children should take home memories at the end of their journey with Rosedale. It is extremely important that our spacious themed rooms welcome our children into a fulfilling learning experience.
