Our school commemorated the 80th Independence Day with a dignified and patriotic celebration in the presence of the Management, Principal and dedicated staff members.
The programme featured inspiring speeches by our teachers in English, Hindi and Tamil, beautifully expressing the values of freedom, unity, patriotism and national pride. The inspiring words of our Principal added a meaningful touch to the celebration, reminding us of our responsibilities as citizens and educators.

Our school successfully conducted the CBSE Young India Culinary Championship 2026 – Round 1 (School Level Competition) on 29th July 2026. Students from Classes VI to IX and XI participated with great enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence, showcasing their exceptional culinary talents.

The young chefs impressed the judges with their innovative, nutritious, colourful, and aesthetically presented dishes in both Fireless Cooking and Cooking with Fire categories. Their passion, originality, teamwork, and culinary skills reflected their dedication and love for the art of cooking.

The competition served as a wonderful platform for students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop valuable life skills. We congratulate all the participants for their commendable efforts and extend our best wishes to the students who have qualified for the next round.

🌍 World Hepatitis Day Awareness Programme at Nathella Vidhyodaya

As part of World Hepatitis Day, Nathella Vidhyodaya organized a series of engaging and informative awareness programmes for students from Classes I to XII.

The programme for Classes I to V was conducted by our enthusiastic School Council Members, who presented an interactive awareness session through a lively enactment. They highlighted the importance of keeping the liver healthy, practising good hygiene, eating nutritious food, and adopting healthy lifestyle habits to prevent hepatitis. The young students participated with great interest and enthusiasm.

For Classes VI to XII, we were privileged to have Mrs. Meenalochani Loganathan, Nutritionist, Dietitian, Wellness and Family Counsellor, as the guest speaker. She delivered an insightful and thought-provoking session on hepatitis, explaining its causes, modes of transmission, symptoms, preventive measures, and the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She also emphasized the importance of timely vaccination, proper nutrition, and personal hygiene in safeguarding liver health.
