🎓 Casey Harris, a dedicated student of K4C International School of Music, has successfully completed RSL Grade 8 Piano, showcasing exceptional technique and musical depth.

🎵 About the Composition – “Spain”
“Spain” is one of the most iconic works by Chick Corea, composed in 1971 and featured on the album Light as a Feather. Widely regarded as a jazz standard, the piece is celebrated for its vibrant energy and intricate musicality.

The original recording featured legendary artists including Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Stanley Clarke, and Joe Farrell.

The introduction draws inspiration from Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, adding a timeless classical essence to the composition.

Over the years, “Spain” has been reimagined by greats like Paco de Lucía, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Béla Fleck, Al Jarreau, Hiromi Uehara, and Stevie Wonder.

🏆 The original version earned Grammy nominations, and in 2001, Chick Corea won a Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement for “Spain for Sextet and Orchestra.”

"They Don't Care About Us" is a song written, produced and performed by American singer Michael Jackson, first released on April 8, 1996, in the United Kingdom, and April 23 in the United States, as the fourth single from his ninth album, HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I (1995).

Music and composition
The song begins with a group of children singing the chorus, "All I wanna say is that they don't really care about us". In between the chorus lines, one child exclaims, "Don't worry what people say, we know the truth", after which another child shouts, "Enough is enough of this garbage!"

It is played in the key of D minor and the track's time signature is common time. The song, which is cited as being a pop song, has a moderately slow tempo of 90 beats per minute. Instruments used include synthesizers, percussion with Olodum and guitar.
