and apply it to our needs and create various implements and ideas. We encourage this process actively by giving our children very interesting aspects of nature. Our efforts are to retain the spontaneity in children and encourage intelligent searching and global understanding of concepts beyond the barriers of subject boundaries. This we achieve by taking them close to nature and not by LECTURING! We train them to understand, practice and represent nature in various art forms like sketching, sculpting, mural making and working with recycled items. We are planning take them to nature walks and let them study concepts like species interaction, synergy etc in ecosystems. The objective is to encourage children to switch mode from consuming and taking things for granted to appreciating the little things in nature making them better humans in the process. Pencilsrock Academy is fortunate to have enlisted active support from various specialists to make it possible. We are sure we can make a difference through our conservation efforts though our art.
