The Lord says that He is the source of all living beings. To put it another way, nature is the source and nature is God.

Treating other species with love and respect is more important than going to places of worship.

It is easy to be friendly with lovable species. It takes real love to be compassionate with all living beings.

Having no hatred (unconditional love) is a key attribute to being loved by Him.

Let us resolve to show more empathy, love and respect to all living beings 🙏

God is in all living beings. We are very insignificant in the scheme of the things of the universe. Consider that the earth itself is a spec of dust... Yet we have made such a devastating impact on our fellow beings. There is enough for all of our needs on this earth; not for our greed. Let us live in peaceful coexistence. All living beings are equal in the eyes of God. Every living being has a specific role and reason to be. When you see an animal and you are not able to appreciate their beauty, think deep, study their role to understand why they appear that way. Form always follows function in nature.

Let us celebrate the beauty of the vulture - nature's ambassador for cleanliness!

Happy Vulture Day 2024!
This video is about why they are Keystone Scavengers!
This is one of the reasons why we need vultures in our forests. They are Keystone Scavengers. They not only feed on carcasses but inadvertently invite the rest of the carnivores to join the feast. At their prowess while in good numbers, they would help devour the carcass of a full-grown elephant in less than a week! Alas, they are scarce now.

We would like to thank the management of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Tiruvottiyur.

We celebrated World Tiger Day at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, with the children of classes II to IX. We conducted a chalk-and-talk session and helped them learn how to sketch a tiger in abstract forms. The older ones were given 4 topics - Tiger the Indicator Species, Tiger - the Umbrella Species, Tiger - the Iconic Species, and Economics of Tiger Reserves. The event was managed by Shanmugam sir and his team.

They made beautiful and interesting presentations. We were told by the school management that it was the first time many of them used apps like PowerPoint, but the children did it very well.

Team Pencilsrock spent the whole day at the school and it was fun.

We are conservation artists. We have been working with children to create awareness of the conservation of nature since 2010. Looking back at some of the pictures we were able to get from our programs, we wanted to document them as a video. These are mostly from the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in Tamil Nadu.
