World Environment Day is a reminder to pause and appreciate the world we live in.

This year's theme, "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future," feels especially relevant. Nature has inspired and sustained us for centuries. When children grow up with an appreciation for the natural world, they carry that sense of wonder into everything they do.

At Ampa Sishya, we want our students to see themselves as part of something much larger. Teaching children to respect and care for the environment is as important as any subject in the classroom.

She's the first voice they hear in the morning and the last hug before bed. She knows exactly which sandwich they'll eat and which one they'll push away. She cheers the loudest at every small victory and holds them closest during every hard moment.

The early years of school leave a mark that lasts well beyond the classroom.

Put on some music and watch what happens. Children who were sitting quietly a moment ago are suddenly on their feet, ready to move.

We design every part of the day to keep the enthusiasm alive.

Teachers turn lessons into conversations. Arts and crafts give children a way to express what words sometimes can't. Outdoor play builds confidence (watch them tackle that wall climb!). Puzzle time develops problem-solving without them realizing it. Music class lets them create, experiment, and yes, make wonderfully imperfect sounds.

When children are this engaged, learning stops feeling like work. They stay curious and ask more questions. They come home talking about what they discovered.
