The Department of Journalism conducted its Fresher’s Day, La Première, with the theme Haute Couture, to induct the first-year students into the department. The evening featured electrifying dance performances and captivating singers who serenaded the audience, bringing together the entire department for a memorable celebration.

The Department of Journalism inaugurated its Departmental clubs: The Brief Room & Inkscribe on July 7th 2026 in the presence of Dr. Jojan Job, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, and Former Head, Department of Journalism. The members were sworn in as the. official office bearers and briefed the audience on their various duties and the functions of the. club.

The Department of Journalism held its investiture ceremony for the newly elected Student’s Association Cabinet for the academic year 2026-2027 on July 7th. The new academic year brings fresh talent and many opportunities and responsibilities for the leaders along with inspiration and hope.

Every new beginning is best embraced in the presence of the Almighty.

The Department of Journalism, MCC, was. blessed to welcome Mrs. Mahima Evangeline and Mr. Melchiz Spurgeon for a meaningful prayer fellowship on 7th July,2026. Through heartfelt worship, personal testimonies, and an inspiring message on overcoming life’s challenges through the three C’s Communication, Compliance, and Confidence the session strengthened our faith and reminded us to place God at the center of every new beginning. Heartfelt thanks to our guests for their time, wisdom, and blessings.
