Congratulations to the people of LCPA music team who has made an another wonderfull achivement at a national level fest by placing first at The Indian Music event [E minor band] ,solo sing ,best vocals and also came up second overall representing Loyola College competing with 18 colleges all over India

That was a great show guys....!!!! Congratulations to the Exodus Team and the members who participated from our club..and won the 2nd place over all India....!!!!

Welcome to all those who hv been selected through auditions!!

This was one of our best shows in terms of audience response! We made it through to the finals of the Theatre event at Saarang 2015.

It was an improved version of the play we perfomed at Dionysia 2014, "FIEW Angry Men".

The cast members are as follows:

Doctor In Spite of Himself was a play written by Moliere and was first performed in 1666, a good 350 years ago. Adapted by the Loyola Club of Performing Arts, it features a corporation school teacher Ganesh who is beaten up and forced to admit that he is a doctor so that he can cure Zeba, the daughter of wealthy business man Mr. Qureshi, of a unique illness.Will Ganesh be successful in treating Zeba? Is Zeba really "mute" or is there something more to it?

Workshops were conducted on the 25 and 27 January, to update members on the activities of the club, and the upcoming events.

A small workshop on voice was also conducted for them, by members of the Music Wing of LCPA! :D

Members of the LCPA participated in "The Hindu Lit for Life Festival 2015" that was conducted between 16-18 January. They were required to adapt any one of the given set of books from the festival into a play.

One short story from "The Book of Common Signs" by Ashok Srinivasan titled "Ex-Votos for a Mask Maker" was adapted into a short play and performed in the dramatics competition held there. They were placed the First runners-up for the same!
