Gracias'17, The Final year farewell of the MITHRAAZ'13 family.!!

The dread with which we stepped in.... The thoughts we had.... The plans we made... the advices we were given.... final year was super scary.... 😣
Days passed in lightning speed...what began a year ago seems just like a day back... A lot of new friends and a lot of new learning.... we grew stronger and proud as a batch. Then came the exams... 3 months of intense toil and sleepless nights... our journey was eased by the ever supportive HODs, the awesome assistants, the enthusiastic PGs. Thanks will be an under statement to the solace they gave to our apprehensive souls.... thank u all loadssss❤

What a help the Dhruvaaz'16 have been❤😝... they came to the assistance of every single person in the batch and took the best possible care.... Extending the hat tip to the shoulders they rendered us.

We feel nostalgic right now, coz this very moment is already becoming a memory. Everyone of us here is elated yet dejected. Happy yet sad..
Coz this time we unite together to say good bye.

On Sept 25 2013, together we all embarked on a journey, an experience that has left an incredible impact on our lives. With rapidly beating hearts and nervous minds we entered Government Kilpauk Medical College, out of choice, out of compulsion or out of no option whatso ever. And here we are today on 22 Dec 2017 after an emotional, bold and beautiful 4 years of rollercoaster ride. It seems like it was just yesterday as a first year student when we put on the white coat for the first time in the dissection hall and how badly we wanted to complete this undergraduation period as fast as we could. But trust us ,now as a final year student we would like to do anything to trade places with the first year student.

In this span of four years, strangers became friends, friends became family, friends became strangers, teachers became mentors and patients became our teachers. All those grueling exams, night out studies, knowledge kindling and snacks filled symposiums and CMEs, fun filled college fests, the blissful hours spent under the shade of the mighty Banyan tree, around the statue, on the stone benches, in the hostel corridors, the emotional break downs, tummy aching laughters, suprise cake cuttings, foot ball club discussions, constantly searching for a good place to eat, the events where we helped, participated, initiated and conducted. This very stage that let us get identified not only as doctors but also as singers, sportspersons, dancers, poets as artists from different arenas , What a transforming journey it has been. Every moment of the journey worth to be relived again.From a mere 12 th standard student to a responsible grownups,we have, in every sense of word, evolved.

Right from the first time we saw a child birth in the labour ward to the inevitable deaths in the emergencies, this place constantly taught us how valuable is the life that am given
This place taught us the joy of loosing, it taught us that there is no such thing called failure, it taught to us to face my worst nightmares with all our strength, it taught us we can make number of mistakes with in these four walls and yet feel safe coz we know we will be corrected by the Masters of the art,this place taught us how to handle people, this stage planted our confidence to take down the vast skies, the Professors nutured my knowledge, this place saw us grow from a naive first year to an emotionally stable final year student, to sum up in 5 words... it has given us LIFE.

And now here we are down to one of the very last unions

So what is our treasure at the end of 4 years?
‎The fond memories we made, the skills we acquired apart from this.. dear batchmates look to your right, look to your left.. those smiling faces.. they are the greatest treasure of 4 years quest.

But if good things lasted forever would we appreciate how precious they are?

So we part today only to meet the better version of each other as our paths cross
The truth now unfolds
The story is now told
Crying eyes, hidden lies,
Just too many goodbyes
All we can hope is goodbye is just another way of saying
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

We are the bunch of 150 who started our journey together four years ago..
A journey where each of us learnt something..
A journey where all our differences were masked..
A journey where the misunderstandings that surfaced were cleared beyond doubt
A journey where there is something for everyone
A journey like no other, a journey that will etch itself in the pages of life

The quizzer nerds, the inexorable sportsmen, the meme makers with an extra funny bone, the impeccable organisers, the gifted singers and dancers, the eloquent speakers, the exceptional writers - The Mithraaz family houses them all.
Individually vulnerable but together omnicompetent

We are the Pandora's box and we are the elixir!

While myriads of little birds made their homes upon the branches of our time honoured Banyan tree, we happened to make ours, in the campus of KMC four long years ago, and today together we look back at the days we spent, as a batch of 150, through thick and thin, and cherish the memories and treasure the friendships created by us. May the journey continue and still hold good even after we graduate and are set on our own paths.

Mithraaz'13 promise to always bring forth the best that's possible, setting a trademark in every endeavour. Every soul in this 150 have proved beyond doubts that we Mithraaz live up to our name.

In the most crucial period of our careers we take the oath to strive to achieve the feat of being commendable doctors and we are sure of it coz there isn't a thing that is impossible to the MITHRAAZ.
