This prestigious appointment highlights his exceptional leadership and academic excellence, as well as his significant contributions to advancing research and innovation in the field of Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE). Prof. Rajagopal has also played a vital role in mentoring numerous startups to help them succeed.

On behalf of the Centre for Nondestructive Evaluation (CNDE), IIT Madras, we are delighted to congratulate Prof. Krishnan Balasubramanian on being conferred the prestigious JC Bose Fellowship (now called the JC Bose Grant) — an extraordinary recognition reserved for the very best in Indian Science. This honour reflects his outstanding contributions to research, innovation, and leadership.

We also proudly congratulate Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal on being elected as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), 2025. This fellowship is a mark of distinction, acknowledging his impactful work and achievements in engineering.
