DIYA as the name suggests has multiple meanings to convey our goals. Starting with the expansion of Do It Yourself Academy, the primary goal is provide a comprehensive learning experience, where understanding of the concept will be through implementation and application. Hands on experience not only expands the span of knowledge, but also gives the intuition and inspiration to invent products or social and commercial importance. The translation for 'DIYA' in Hindi being 'Lamp', our mission is to be the guiding light. Our target is be of guidance, both technical and non-technical for the students to scale great heights. In order to achieve our goals we organize full term and short term courses, internship programs, internships in companies, competitions, exhibitions and guest lectures by domain experts in accordance to the convenience of the students and the institution. Every course has a silver lining because at the end of every course students will be building projects that are of commercial importance. Implementing these will orient the students properly towards innovation. The courses being offered are acknowledge of being of key value to students by experts in concerned fields and hence are guaranteed to make the desired impact. Living up to the word 'DIYA', the Hindi translation meaning 'gave', we run a non-profit organization supported by funds generated through DIYA, to cater to the Orphanages and Children's home and expose them to building projects, thereby giving them an opportunity to express and prove themselves to the society. We aim at involving students for the purpose of teaching the orphans, thus we aim at inculcating a strong sense of social responsibility in the citizens of tomorrow. Meet Adhiran S, a talented 6th-grade student from Greenfield Chennai International School, who successfully built a Colour Sorting Conveyor Belt under the guidance of DIYA.

This innovative project demonstrates how automation systems can identify and sort objects based on their colours using sensors, introducing young learners to the fascinating world of robotics, industrial automation, and smart manufacturing.

What makes this achievement even more inspiring is Adhiran's ability to confidently explain the project's components, working mechanism, and its real-world industrial applications.

At DIYA, we believe innovation begins with hands-on learning. By encouraging students to design, build, and experiment, we're empowering them with the skills and confidence to become tomorrow's technology leaders.

🌟 Today's learner. Tomorrow's innovator.
