VEDIC MATHS CAN HELP YOU CRACK COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS
Practice makes a man perfect and Mathematics needs continuous practice to master skills. Fast calculation skills have a vital role to play in competitive exams as without these skills solving the quantitative aptitude section usually becomes quite difficult. Mental vigilance and logical efficiency is highly required to solve the Numerical Ability section of any competitive exam as these are essential elements for solving numerical questions.
Rather than using traditional methods of solving sums one can use Vedic maths tips and tricks to solve any sum. Vedic maths is a simple and alternative system of Mathematics. It has given a new approach to the students. Students develop problem solving ability and it also leads to the development of creative intelligence. It is very effective and at the same time it is easy to learn. One can do calculations much faster than done by using the conventional method that is taught in schools.

With the number of enrolment in schools increasing, there is actually a greater number of students who are struggling with basic maths in India's Schools. Why not teach them an easier way to divide or subtract which is via Vedic Mathematics.
Also some mathematicians brush away Vedic maths as being short cuts or a bag of tricks. In the light of new studies published, each and every sutra has been proved mathematically and these proofs are available for all to see and learn from.
Today in India, Vedic Maths is being adopted by three universities who will launch programs in Feb 2015.The day is not far away when we will see Vedic maths as being part of every university or board's curriculum.

Kids amaze Clinton with Vedic Maths
Clinton and the delegates were astonished to see two students of Class 10 solving a mathematical riddle using the Nikhilam method of Vedic Maths even before some delegates could solve those with calculators. Clinton asked Ashish Dubey and Amrita Kumar to get in touch with the Clinton Foundation through Akshaya Patra for any assistance in the future.
While most kids at Government Praveshika Sanskrit Vidyalaya identified Clinton as “Amrika ka pradhan mantri”, “Angrez sir”, and “gora aadmi”, only a handful knew the distinguished guest was once the most powerful man in the world. Clinton arrived with a 25member delegation, most of them donors or representatives of business houses, to see the mid-day meal scheme in action at Akshaya Patra foundation kitchen in Jaipur.
For 20 minutes, Clinton and his team served food to students. The former US President greeted every child with a smile and asked about their health and studies. The delegates too spoke to students, took pictures, and allowed them to take photos. Some students shared their food with the delegates.
“Getting praise from one of the world leaders made this the biggest day of my life,” said Dubey, adding, “Since I was told about his visit, I read a lot about his political career and humanitarian work. I wish our politicians follow in his footsteps.” Clinton was touched whenhe was offered a gift for her pregnant daughter Chelsea and her unborn baby. “I am very much excited to become a grandfather,” Clinton told reporters.
“I love this programme. I think it’s the finest communication made in the history of Clinton Global Initiative. This is an ideal collaboration of government and NGO in serving society,” said Clinton. Akshaya Patra
