لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٍ

Lâ ilâha illâ llâhu, wahdahu lâ sharîka lahu, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-hamdu, yuhyî wa yumîtu, wa huwa hayyun lâ yamûtu, bi-yadihi-l-khayru, wa huwa AAalâ kulli shay'in qadîr.

"There is none worthy of worship besides Allah. He is all by Himself. He has no partner. His is the Kingdom, to Him is all praise. He gives and takes life. He is all by Himself. He will not die. In His hands is all good and He has control (power) over all things".

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمُ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ

As-salâmu AAalaykum ahla d-diyâri mina-l-muminîna wa-l-muslimîna. Wa innâ in shâ'a llâhu bikum lâhiqûna [wa yarhamu llâhu-l-mustaqdimîna minnâ wa-l-musta'khirîna.] As'alu llâha lanâ wa lakumu-l-Aâfiyata.

When leaving the house

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

Bismillah, tawakkaltu AAalallah, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah

"I depart with Allah's name, relying on Him. It is Allah who saves us from sins with His guidance (the ability to do so)."

Allahumma innee aAAoothu bika an adilla aw odal, aw azilla aw ozall, aw athlima aw othlam, aw ajhala aw yujhala AAalay.

‘O Allah, I take refuge with You lest I should stray or be led astray, or slip or be tripped, or oppress or be oppressed, or behave foolishly or be treated foolishly.’ slip: i.e. to commit a sin unintentionally

When starting ablution

بِسْمِ الله

Bismi llâhi.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَـهَ إِلاّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريـكَ لَـهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمّـداً عَبْـدُهُ وَرَسـولُـه

Ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan AAabduhu warasooluh

"I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger."

اللّهُـمَّ اجْعَلنـي مِنَ التَّـوّابينَ وَاجْعَـلْني مِنَ المتَطَهّـرين
Allahummaj-AAalnee minat-tawwabeena wajAAalnee minal-mutatahhireen

"O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure."

Allahumma lakal-hamdu anta kasawtaneeh, as-aluka min khayrihi wakhayri ma suniAAa lah, wa-aAAoothu bika min sharrihi washarri ma suniAAa lah.

O Allah, praise is to You. You have clothed me. I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it has been made for, and I seek Your protection from the evil of it and the evil of what it has been made for.
