Fitness isn't an occasional activity at Darwin.

It is built into the school day.

Every student participates in structured fitness sessions guided by trained instructors, alongside dedicated sports periods where they pursue disciplines such as football, basketball, pickleball, and more.

Because healthy habits, physical strength, coordination, and discipline are developed through consistency — not once-a-year sports days.

As we look back at moments from the school year during the summer break, we're reminded that learning happens in classrooms, on courts, in fitness sessions, and everywhere in between.

Strong minds. Strong bodies. Both matter.

Energy. Movement. Discipline.

Our students step onto the field - not just to exercise, but to build strength, coordination, and focus.

From agility drills and balance work to core strength and endurance training, every weekly session is designed to develop:
• Physical fitness
• Body awareness
• Team spirit
• Mental resilience

Learning to push limits and stay disciplined.

Because at Darwin, fitness isn’t a class.
It is a habit we build for life.

It started as a lesson on the postman and his role.

But the children didn’t stop there.

They became the postmen.

Letters written in their own words.
Delivered to teachers, security, helping staff -
to the people who are part of their everyday, often unnoticed.

No instruction to do this.
No checklist to complete.

Just a simple idea -
“Let’s deliver what we wrote.”

At Darwin, learning doesn’t end with understanding a concept.
It shows up in what children choose to do next.

A morning where parents stepped into the classroom -
not to be shown,
but to truly experience.

Children choosing, exploring, concentrating.
Learning with purpose.
Growing in their own time.

Quiet moments.
Small discoveries.
Real confidence taking shape.

This is Montessori at Darwin -
where independence, curiosity, and confidence
are nurtured gently, every day.

SEL Classes at Darwin

Some moments in school are quiet.
But they stay with children the longest.

Pausing. Reflecting. Listening.
Finding the courage to speak.

This is Social Emotional Learning at Darwin -
where children don’t just learn what to think,
but learn to understand themselves and others.

Because growing up well matters
just as much as growing up smart.

Pyjama Night | Little Moments, Big Memories

They walked in with bags and excitement…
and slowly settled into an evening of stories, laughter, and togetherness.

From games and creative activities
to dancing freely, sharing meals, and winding down with a movie —

the night unfolded just as it should.

Unstructured. Joyful. Real.

Some found quiet corners with books.
Some stayed up for “just one more moment.”
All of them carried a little more independence back home.

Because childhood isn’t just about learning in classrooms.

It’s about moments like these.

An Evening Full of Little Joys

From running in with excitement
to dancing without a care…
from stories and play
to creating their own masks…

…and finally settling in for a movie that had everyone hooked -

Our Montessori and Grade 1–2 children spent an evening simply being children.

Laughter echoed.
Friendships grew.
And little hands stayed busy, curious, and creative.

They came in with energy…
and left with stories to tell.
