Our school organized a Free Medical Camp on 5th and 6th August 2026 for students from PP1 to Class XII and all teaching and non-teaching staff. Experienced doctors from Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute conducted health check-ups in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, ENT, Dermatology and Genecology. A special awareness session on menstrual hygiene and well-being was conducted for girls from Classes VI to XII. The camp proceeded smoothly, promoting health awareness and preventive care among students and staff. The school sincerely thanks the medical team for their valuable service and guidance.

LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

On 4th August 2026, GSS Jain Gurukul organized an educational visit to a BOSS Nursery for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to explore a variety of plants, learn their botanical names, characteristics, importance and about gardening, environmental conservation, and sustainable practices.

The students observed different species, interacted with the gardeners, and gained hands-on knowledge about plant care and the role of greenery in creating a healthier environment. It was an inspiring experience that nurtured curiosity, responsibility, and a love for nature.

GSS Jain Gurukul School Shines at SRM Future Leaders Debate Summit 2026

We are delighted to announce that students of GSS Jain Gurukul School participated in the SRM Future Leaders Debate Summit 2026 organized by SRM Public School.

In the Prelims held on 22nd July 2026, our team of 3 Speakers + 1 Research Member competed in the Modified WSDC format and qualified for the Semi-Finals on 31st July 2026 in Category B – Classes XI & XII.

The team debated on relevant and thought-provoking topics including AI and inequality, education and creativity, and data privacy.

We appreciate the efforts of our students and mentor. This achievement marks a strong step in building our school’s debating culture.

The CBSE Cluster Zone VI 2026 - 27
Kabaddi Tournament was held at Sri Gokulam School on 24th and 25th July 2026. A total of 23 girls represented our school.
The Badminton Tournament was held at Ramachandra public school, Kottivakkam. A team consisting of 9 Boys and 5 Girls participated in the tournament.

The Under-14 kabaddi Girls team and Under - 19 badminton girls team as qualified for the quarter-finals.

The experience has inspired the players to continue training with confidence in future tournaments.

We are delighted to announce that GSS Jain Gurukul is participating in NEC Junior 2026, E-Cell, IIT Bombay, aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and problem-solving skills among school students.
Through this prestigious platform, our students will have the opportunity to explore entrepreneurial thinking, participate in innovation challenges, and gain valuable national-level exposure.
We are proud to be a part of this inspiring initiative and look forward to empowering our young minds to innovate, lead, and build the future.

Class 1 and 2 students visited a supermarket. They learned about different sections, products, price tags, and the billing process. Teachers explained the importance of maths in daily life. The visit was fun, educational, and helped students learn about shopping.

GSS Jain Gurukul celebrated "Safe Wheels Day" on 21.07.2026. The children took part in many fun activities like rhymes, mime, speech, identifying traffic signs, and a parade. Real vehicles such as an auto, van, school bus, scooty, and bike were used to teach the children about traffic signs and road safety. The students enjoyed the activities and learned the importance of following traffic rules.

GSS Jain Gurukul International School, Nallur, proudly celebrated its 10th Annual Day on Saturday, 4th July 2026, marking a decade of excellence, growth, and cherished memories.

Congratulations to Our SOF Olympiad Achiever.

We are delighted to congratulate Saaketh Sreejith of Class I for his outstanding performance in the SOF Mathematics Olympiad.

He has secured Zonal Rank 7 in Mathematics, bringing great pride to our school. In recognition of his excellent achievement, he has also been awarded a gift voucher worth ₹500.
