We are an Early Intervention Center admitting Deaf / Hearing Impaired children below 3 years of age. Admission is open through out the year.

All services of the school are rendered free. The school accepts donations in the name of Balavidyalaya Trust.

We are incredibly proud to share that our alumni Yash Kumar who joined Balavidyalaya in 2001 has successfully cracked the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam and has been selected for the for the Indian Administrative Service.

Yash, a Computer Science Engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, worked in Microsoft for one-and-a-half years and then decided to take up the civil services.

We are overjoyed to see his hard work pay off and look forward to the impact he will create on lives across the country.

On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we took forth the theme of “Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future” and spoke to our alumnus Shohan Konchada to understand his perspectives on leadership in the workplace and what people can do to make it more inclusive and better.

Shohan shares his thoughts, and gives advice and encouragement to other youngsters who are starting out.

This International Week of the deaf, we share Husna Naleer's journey from Balavidyalaya to becoming a part of the Enable Lanka Foundation.

Enable Lanka Foundation is a non-profit organisation empowering people with disabilities in Sri Lanka. Through various programs and initiatives, they strive to create inclusive opportunities and foster positive change for people with disabilities. They promote education, skills development, and resource access, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Husna is the social media manager at Enable Lanka Foundation. As a social media manager, she is the creative mind behind the the content - graphics and videos that go up across their social media platforms. Her responsibilities include creating engaging videos with eye-catching visuals that not only resonate with audiences but invite them to engage with Enable Lanka Foundation too. She also handles the scheduling and posting across all channels to ensure a consistent online presence.

Outside of Enable Lanka Foundation, Husna leads the communications team at Global Shapers.

From a toddler at Balavidyalaya to a communications expert, Husna gives us many reasons to be proud to know her and to cheer her on every step of the way!
