Roots & Shoots: Our First Two Weeks!
The journey has begun, and what an incredible start it has been! The enthusiasm and energy these children have brought to the Roots & Shoots program are truly inspiring.
Over the past two weeks, our young participants have been introduced to the program and have started meaningful discussions on how they can make the world a better place. We've watched with pride as they've actively participated in team-building exercises, already thinking like young change makers!
Our last session was extra special—each child painted their own eco-friendly tote bag as a step towards reducing plastic use. Their creative designs showcased everything from woodland creatures to ocean scenes, each reflecting their unique vision and genuine commitment to sustainability. It was heartwarming to see!
We can't wait to see where this journey takes our group next. Their enthusiasm for environmental action is contagious! Stay tuned as we continue to learn, explore, and take action together! 🌎💚

Through hands-on projects like wildlife conservation, tree planting, and community service, participants learn leadership, compassion, and practical skills to make the world a better place. Workshop Success: A Super Duper Hit! 🐦✨
We are excited to announce that our recent workshop featuring The Hummingbird magazine was a huge success! Vinothini had the students fully engaged for the entire 90 minutes, and the time flew by!
Not only did the children explore all the key features of the magazine, but they also got to solve puzzles and participate in other fun, interactive activities. They engaged in meaningful discussions about current affairs and climate change, sparking curiosity and expanding their knowledge about the world around them.
We’re thrilled by the enthusiasm and participation of the students and proud of the learning and growth that took place. This was an enriching experience, and we can’t wait to bring more exciting workshops to Readin' Resource!
