Independence Day was celebrated with high respect and enthusiasm at Alpha International School on 15th August 2022. Chief Guest Lf. Commander Dr.R. Pradheep Indian Navy along with Ms Sujatha, Principal AIS, unfurled the flag and all in unison sang the Flag song.
The senior choir team sang patriotic songs, and the children of Grade VI to X came up with various cultural events. Mime show performed by the children insisting togetherness was a show stealer. Children danced to patriotic tunes celebrating the day of independence. Ms Naveena KG Coordinator, Lead Teacher of the Dept of Social shared the significance of the day. The program came to a meaningful end with the message of the Chief Guest.

On 28.07.2022, Alpha Group of Institutions received the “Excellence in Providing Modern and Innovative Teaching" award at the Eldrok India K-12 Summit in ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. Credits to Modern teaching methods, Learner-centered curriculums, and the ex*****on of the same through invested educators in Alpha Group of Institutions. The diligence of everyone associated with this institution to stimulate students’ ability and to acquire advanced knowledge across all levels has been recognized by the Eldrok India K-12 Summit. The award was presented to Mrs. Suja George, Vice Chairperson of Alpha Group of Institutions at the summit conducted in ITC Grand Chola on.

The Alpha Matriculation Hr. Sec school at Sembakkam received an award from ELDROK for "Excellence in Imparting Quality Education". The award was received by the Principal, Mrs. Ramani George on July 28th 2022 at the Eldrok India K-12 Summit in ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. The efforts to equip the school with needed motivation by the management added to creatively the passionate work of the staff on impacting high pedagogical strategies to improve students' learning have yielded a well-deserved appreciation.

Alpha Group of Institutions are proud to announce that Ms. Deepa Jayaraj from Alpha International School was placed 2nd among several finalists in the South Zone of “CLASSEDGE CLASSROOM CHAMPIONSHIP” – a National level competition on effective classroom using technology which has been conducted by TATA Class Edge (TCE) for the past six years.
This year, despite the pandemic 1600 participants took part in the competition and 12 winners, 3 from each zone (North, South, East & West) were selected. The entire event panned across 2 months with the grand final being a virtual award ceremony on the 5th of May, where the 12 winners were accompanied by their school principals. Ms. Aarthi Subramanian, Chief Digital Officer & Non-executive Director of Tata Sons graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Ms. Deepa received much appreciation from the judges for her innovative methods and enthusiasm. Our hearty congratulations to her and best wishes for future accolades.
