Buddy Talk: Bridging the wisdom of our distinguished with the ambition of our future leaders.

We were delighted to host CA Deepak Pandian (MBA Batch 2008–2011), Vice President at JK Shah Classes (A ), for the latest edition of our series. As an MBA Gold Medalist, MCA, and FCA, Deepak’s journey from our classrooms to the boardroom stands as a true benchmark for our current cohort.

The session, "Opportunities and Challenges in the Finance Sector", challenged our students to look beyond the mechanics of traditional accounting, framing modern finance as a vital domain for creating strategic value.

The Evolving Horizon of Finance
Deepak shared critical insights on the shifting industry paradigm, highlighting four core trajectories for the modern finance professional:

🔹Credit & Risk Management: Acting as the structural backbone of banking and institutional lending.
🔹Equity Research & Investment Management: Deep diving into market dynamics and the art of sustainable wealth creation.
🔹Compliance: Ensuring operational integrity amidst an era of tightening global regulations.
