A message from the Dean
Dear Mahesh,
You may already have seen that we have been ranked number one business school in Europe for the third consecutive year by the Financial Times in its annual ranking today. This particular measure combines degree and executive education programmes – the MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management and both Open and Custom Executive Education programmes.
The School’s MBA programme has today also topped Bloomberg Businessweek’s international MBA ranking for the second time. The School was first ranked #1 in 2012. The top result reflects high employer and student satisfaction, and a strong employment rate three months after graduation (93%).
We’re proud of the consistency of our ranking among the world’s top business schools. Thank you to all those who have helped to make it happen.
All the best,
Andrew Likierman

For those who haven't seen today's Financial Times, London Business School has been ranked number one in Europe for the second year running.
The number one position is out of more than 80 schools. It’s the result of the FT combining their degree and executive education rankings - MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management and both Open and Custom Executive Education programmes.
Taking the top spot again in this year’s FT ranking of European business schools is a great end to an exciting year.
All the best,
Andrew

London Business School to launch
Masters in Financial Analysis
Dear Mahesh,
I am pleased to let you know, before it is public, that the School will launch a new Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA) degree programme. The MFA is a 12 month pre-experience programme that will equip participants for the first stages of a career in finance. We will welcome the first cohort to campus in September 2016.
The decision to go ahead comes after extensive exploration, consultation and benchmarking, particularly with alumni. I'm grateful to all those who have been involved. As a result, we will now offer programmes at the early career stage in both finance and management, building on our location and reputation. Tomorrow the Financial Times will publish an exclusive interview about the programme.
All the best,
Andrew

Message from the Dean of London Business School
Dear Mahesh,
In today's Financial Times you will see that our full-time MBA programme has taken second place in the Global MBA Rankings, up one place. As I always say, these rankings are not definitive measures, but the fact that we are consistently ranked in the world's top schools is strong independent confirmation of our quality.
One pleasing change since last year is that we have moved up significantly in the research ranking. As you know, we are committed to thought leadership as well as contributing to individuals through our programmes. Our recently-announced alliance with AQR in the field of asset management will add further to that and we are now looking to fund a Leadership Institute.
Thank you to all those alumni who are helping the School maintain its standing and its quality.
