Velammal Vidhyashram, Maraimalai Nagar

Project-Based Learning (PBL) for primary students at VV maraimalai nagar is Good Food and Well-being (aligned with SDG 3) focuses on shifting from passive learning to active, real-world application.
Projects include "inclusive menus" that consider food allergies and cultural diversity, such as researching healthy traditional dishes of Asian cuisines. Hands-on sorting of food cards into "Healthy," "Unhealthy," and "Less Healthy" (nutritious but high calorie) categories and fun games for parents was the main highlight. Siddha classroom and gym techniques were also discussed.
