Pongal is a harvest festival that is dedicated to the Sun God thanking him for agricultural abundance. It is usually celebrated during the month of January for 4 days according to the Tamil calendar. Cooking the Pongal dish is a traditional practice in South Indian houses. Feasting, gift-giving and visiting homes are special observances on this day.

LE Sports Day was celebrated on 9th December this year. Apart from events such as running race, lemon&spoon race, drill display and hoola hoop activity, we had yoga display and hare&tortoise race this year. Our kids showed true sportsman spirit and remained enthusiastic throughout the day!!

Christmas is a festival which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. it is celebrated on 25th December every year, among billions of people around the world. The traditional colours of Christmas are red, green and gold. We had Santa from the town visit our school and our kids were thrilled to see him and receive goodies from him!!
