#Chennai rains#Chennai floods#Chennai rains help 07/12/2015

Torrential rain from 3rd November 2015 in Chennai and suburb of Tamil Nadu, India for 134cm first of its kind after 1918 has made human life (elite, middle class and poor people) very miserabe and pathetic. Nearly 2 million people lost their belongings and documents and they are literally on the roads or their terrace. Rehabilitation after rain should be done in warfooting. Vidhya-Dhaan Scheme for Higher Education (2014 – 15)
Female school children in today’s world have great zeal and attitude to pursue higher education – not only in engineering and medicine – but also in various facets of arts, science and commerce. Recently, Govt. of Tamil Nadu has introduced 380 innovative courses in such discipline which are job oriented and para professional.
Unfortunately, widow mothers remain helpless to bring up their children, particularly daughters with higher education due to their economical burden for getting them married. This scenario made our trust to have an in-depth discussion on this issue. The outcome of interaction among the trustees sprouted the concept of VIDHYA-DHAAN scheme for Higher education. The details of the scheme provided hereunder will be amended periodically by the Trust.
Details of the scheme:

1. Adoption of One student per academic year.
2. Trust will bear the tuition fees and examination fees only for entire curriculum.
3. The candidate should maintain good academic record which will be assessed continuously by the Trust.
4. Decision of the Trustees is final.
5. For prospective students only.
Documents to be submitted:
1. Higher Secondary Mark sheet.
2. Community certificate
