Phonics Training Session – A Wonderful Learning Experience!

Our two-day phonics training session was truly informative, engaging, and fun-filled! 🎉

Teachers had the opportunity to explore new teaching strategies, interactive activities, and creative phonics techniques that can make learning more meaningful for children. The sessions were packed with hands-on experiences, laughter, teamwork, and many valuable takeaways for everyone.

It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and active participation of all the teachers throughout the training. We are excited to implement these new ideas in our classrooms and make phonics learning even more effective and enjoyable for our little learners.

Scouts and Guides – Tritya Sopan Testing Camp
The Tritya Sopan Testing Camp was conducted on 21st and 22nd of April at the Bharat Scouts and Guides State Training Centre, Alathur. Students of Olive Public school actively participated in the camp and gained valuable knowledge and practical training in various aspects of The Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The camp provided students with opportunities to develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and self-reliance while deepening their understanding of the values and principles of Scouting and Guiding. It was an enriching and memorable learning experience for all the participants.

Movie Night at Olive Public School .
To set the stage for summer vacation, OLIVIANS of Grade 3 to 9 gathered together to watch the heartwarming adventure - Toy Story 4.
Beyond the fun and laughter, the movie gave our students beautiful lessons — the value of true friendship, the courage to embrace change, and the importance of finding one’s own purpose.
It was the perfect evening of fun, bonding, and learning before the holidays.

Owing to World Earth Day, the Grade 3 Science teachers organized an energetic and meaningful rally on 21/04/2026, to inspire environmental awareness. The students participated with great enthusiasm, carrying colorful placards and wearing creative caps with eco-friendly messages. As they marched, they confidently raised slogans about saving trees, reducing pollution, and protecting our planet. Their voices filled the surroundings with positivity and responsibility. The rally not only created awareness but also encouraged young minds to become active protectors of the Earth and practice eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. 🌍

🌎The Grade 2 Olivians participated in Earth Day activity by creating a placard, through which they developed an understanding of the importance of protecting the Earth and keeping the environment clean. They learned simple eco-friendly habits like saving water, planting trees, and reducing waste.

The activity also enhanced their creativity, speaking skills, and fine motor skills, while building a sense of responsibility towards nature.🌱

🌍 Earth Day Celebration –
Grade 1 🌱
Our little eco-warriors from Grade 1 celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and creativity! 💚 The students showcased their love for our planet by creating beautiful drawings of the Earth, highlighting the importance of keeping it clean and green.

They also enjoyed making colourful collages using different materials, expressing their ideas on protecting nature in a fun and artistic way. 🎨🌎

Through these engaging activities, children learned simple yet meaningful ways to care for our environment—like planting trees, saving water, and reducing waste. 🌿💧

Demo on Robotics for students of Olive Public School.
Demo on Robotics was organised by Android Robo. The session aimed to spark curiosity and introduce young minds to the exciting world of technology, coding, and automation. Students watched live demonstrations of robots in action, learned how sensors and programs work together, and even got a chance to interact with the models.
The excitement on their faces said it all — learning becomes powerful when it is hands-on.
At Olive Public School, we believe in blending creativity with technology to prepare our students for the future. This demo was one more step in our journey of making learning fun, practical, and inspiring.
