The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Physiotherapy, Saveetha College of Physiotherapy, conducted a Health Awareness Camp on 11 May 2026 at Molachur Village under the theme “Ovarian Cancer Awareness.” The camp was organized under the guidance of Faculty Dr. S. Madhan Raj, PG In-Charge Dr. Harini PS. Student volunteers Mr. Ajith, Mr. Vigneshwar, Mr. Nithish, and Mr. Jeslin Joshva actively participated in the program.
The main objective of the camp was to create awareness about ovarian cancer, promote women’s reproductive health, and educate the public on early identification, preventive measures, and the importance of timely medical consultation. Awareness regarding healthy lifestyle practices and regular medical check-ups was also provided.
A total of 15 families benefited from the screening and awareness program. The activity effectively promoted community health awareness and supported SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being.
