Our lives have been touched and shaped in irrevocable ways by our Master, Swami Chinmayananda. Swamiji’s words, vision and zeal still live through the Mission
and all our endeavours. How powerful should have been His Master, then, to have transformed the atheist, patriotic youth into a spiritual giant of our times?! Yes.
Indeed, Swami Tapovan Maharaj is a teacher extraordinaire, the epitome of austerity and a seer who seeded the Truth in several seekers.
It is our deep honour and reverence to the Param Guru who gave us our Guru, who is at the centre of this issue. Swami Tapovanam is indeed the glory of the Himalayas, the pinnacle of all penance.
This month, we have articles which thread together a transformative experience. Go through each
one of them in silent reflection and inspired dynamism.

न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते ।
तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति ॥ ४-३८॥
na hi jñānena sadṛśaṃ pavitramiha vidyate
tatsvayaṃ yogasaṃsiddhaḥ kālenātmani vindati 4-38

Certainly, there is no purifier in this world like Knowledge. He who is himself perfected in YOGA finds it in the Self in time.
