🚨10th results are out.
And if you’re a parent currently deciding which stream your child should take for 11th standard, please take two minutes to read this.
During a counselling session recently, a parent told me very casually:
“My son is an average student.
We’re thinking Commerce would be safer for him.”
Science was never even part of the discussion.
Not because the child lacked potential.
But because the family had already decided what he was “capable” of.
Yesterday, the results came out.
He scored above 90 in Science.
And overnight, the entire conversation at home changed.
Suddenly:
“He should take Science.”
“He can become an engineer.”
“He’s actually very intelligent.”
What struck me wasn’t the marks.
It was how quickly the child’s identity changed because of a number on a marksheet.
So I asked the boy something simple:
“If you wrote the same Science exam again,
do you think you would score 90 again?”
His answer came immediately.
“Not a chance.”
Then I asked:
“Then how did you score it?”
He quietly said:
“I think the questions I prepared came in the exam.”
And then he said something that stayed with me:
“My parents are so happy.
I don’t want to spoil that.”
Before the results,
he was considered “average.”
After the results,
he suddenly became “brilliant.”
But the truth is:
The child was always intelligent.
The marks didn’t create intelligence overnight.
They only changed how people perceived it.
This is where many parents unknowingly make a mistake.
We decide a child’s capability based on one narrow scale: marks in a few subjects.
If a child scores high in Science,
we assume they are “smart.”
If they don’t,
we quietly place limits on what we think they can become.
But intelligence does not work that way.
Every child is intelligent.
The real question is:
Where does that intelligence naturally come alive?
Today, that child is confidently moving towards Commerce not because he “couldn’t do Science,” but because it aligns far better with who he naturally is.
Before deciding your child’s stream, ask yourself honestly:
Are you choosing based only on marks?
Or based on your child’s natural ability, personality, confidence, interests, and the kind of life they are truly built for?
Because successful careers are not created only through Science.
They are created when a child enters a path where their strengths naturally come alive.

I'll go first.
Someone should have told me that being good at something
is not the same as being meant for it.
I was excellent at corporate HR for 15 years.
I could read a room, place the right person, build a formidable team.
But the work that actually keeps me up at night (in the best way)
is sitting across from someone who doesn't know who they are yet,
and helping them find out.
Nobody told me that distinction mattered.
I had to spend 15 years on the wrong side of the table to understand it.
Your turn.
What's the one thing you wish you'd known?

You didn't choose the wrong career.
You chose it without knowing yourself.
At 17, you picked a stream.
At 21, a job.
Nobody stopped to ask — what is your brain actually wired for?
Not your marks. Not what looked safe on paper.
Your real intelligence type. Your natural working style.
The environment where you'd stop watching the clock.
Years later, you're good at your job.
But something feels quietly, persistently off.
The Sunday dread is real.
Monday mornings feel like a small battle you fight alone.
And the version of you that was supposed to love this career?
Still waiting.
Here's what most people never find out —
Your fingerprints carry the answer.
DMIT (Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test) is a fingerprint-based assessment used in 100+ countries that maps your brain's natural wiring — your dominant intelligence, your ideal work environment, and the career direction you were actually built for.
This is not astrology.
This is neuroscience.

"You don’t hate studying…
you hate what you’re studying.”
That sentence explains more students than people realize.
You can spend hours scrolling, watching videos, learning random things online…
but the moment you open your books, your energy disappears.
And then comes the guilt.
The self-blame.
The feeling that maybe you’re lazy or not disciplined enough.
But sometimes…
it’s not laziness.
Sometimes the mind disconnects from what the heart never chose.
Not every student struggling with studies is incapable.
Some are simply disconnected from the direction they’re forcing themselves into.
And that changes everything.
Maybe the answer is not more pressure.
Maybe the answer is asking better questions.

But somewhere between security and expectations, they may have lost connection with their future.
Not every student says “I hate this.”
Sometimes it shows up as silence, exhaustion, low motivation, or feeling emotionally disconnected from their degree.
This carousel is not about blaming parents.
It’s about understanding the signs before confusion becomes regret.
Swipe through the 7 signs. 💭

Everyone is chasing marks.
But very few are building the skills that actually shape long-term success.
Marks can open a door.
But skills decide how far you grow after entering.
Because real life doesn’t test:
✔ how well you memorised
It tests:
✔ how clearly you communicate
✔ how well you solve problems
✔ how consistent you stay
✔ how quickly you adapt when things change
The students who win in the future won’t just be the highest scorers.
They’ll be the ones who know how to think, learn, and evolve.
🎯 Don’t stop working for marks.
Just don’t build your entire identity around them.
Because skills create opportunities —
even when marks don’t.
