The 93rd Founder’s Day of St. John’s Sr. Sec. School & Jr. College, Mandaveli, celebrated on 23rd July 2026, was a meaningful celebration of legacy, gratitude and service, honouring the vision of our Founder, Bishop Dr. G. Rajakumar.
A special highlight was the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards to our retired teachers, who dedicated over four decades to the growth and success of St. John’s. In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, the Management also introduced a Pension Scheme for our retired teachers. The awards and initiative were presented by Hon’ble Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, JCD Prabakaran.
The Community Welfare Initiative of St. John’s extended meaningful support to deserving members. The welfare benefits were presented by Hon’ble Minister Venkatraman, reaffirming our commitment to serving society beyond the classroom.
The celebration also witnessed the inauguration of St. John’s Teacher Training College, the induction of the Student Council 2026–27, and the felicitation of students with Proficiency and 100% Attendance Awards.
With vibrant cultural performances by our students, the day became a celebration of everything that makes the St. John’s legacy special — education, gratitude, service and community.

This Friendship Day, our students from Classes III to VIII penned heartfelt letters and handcrafted friendship cards for their friends. Each message was carefully dropped into the St. John’s Friendship Post Box before being delivered to its rightful recipient.
A simple activity that spread smiles, strengthened friendships, and reminded us that kind words have the power to make someone’s day.

Our Kindergarten Green Day was a delightful blend of nature, creativity, and sensory exploration. From joyful dance Party to hands-on experiences, our little learners discovered the joy of connecting with the world around them. 🌱
A glimpse into our LKG classroom
Our little learners proudly welcomed their parents into their classroom for a special observation session. From engaging Story Time and joyful Rhymes Time to interactive Phonics Time, parents experienced the magic of learning through their children’s eyes.
The session concluded with a delightful hands-on parent-child activity, followed by smiles, laughter, and memories captured forever.
Because every child’s learning journey becomes even more meaningful when school and home grow together. 🌱
