🚦 Hygiene On Go: Bringing dignity and sanitation to those who keep Bengaluru moving.

Traffic police personnel spend long hours on the road, often with limited access to basic sanitation. Hygiene On Go (HOG) brings mobile sanitation facilities directly to their duty locations.

Supported through the CSR initiative of Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India Pvt. Ltd. (RNTBCI) and implemented by Hand in Hand India, the initiative has made a meaningful difference since its launch in December 2025:

🚻 20,466 service usages

👮 2,012 personnel supported during special Bandobust duties

🚐 3 GPS-enabled mobile sanitation vehicles

With separate facilities for men and women, HOG is helping create safer, more inclusive and dignified working conditions, particularly for women personnel.

By bringing sanitation closer to where officers work, we are helping reduce duty interruptions while supporting the health, safety and dignity of those who keep our city moving.

Under the Employee Engagement Programme (EEP) of FMC Technologies, Hand in Hand India supported the three-day Annual Day celebrations at ZPHS Chinnagolkonda, Telangana, bringing together 250+ children, teachers and staff. The celebrations featured sports, cultural programmes, quiz competitions and engaging thematic activities, creating a vibrant space for children to participate, learn and celebrate together.

The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates to recognise the children’s achievements. The celebrations also included food and free stationery support, adding to the joy of the occasion. The inaugural session was graced by the DEO, Rangareddy, as Chief Guest, along with staff from nearby schools.

The Tamil Nadu Government's July 2026 Class 10 Supplementary Examination results have brought a proud milestone for Hand in Hand India. Out of 73 children from our four Transit Schools, 65 successfully passed their board exams, an achievement that reflects determination and the power of a second chance for children vulnerable to child labour and other forms of exploitation.
Every success story narrates the dedication of our Transit School teachers and team, who stood by these children throughout their learning journey. We wholeheartedly congratulate our young achievers as they take their next step towards a brighter future.

As part of the Karur Vysya Bank 's CSR Project, an engaging awareness programme was held at Guindy Children’s Park, Chennai, during the Independence Day celebrations. The event brought together 320 children, with 95 children receiving prizes for their enthusiastic participation.

Through seven interactive games, children explored animals, their food habits, habitats and identification, while also strengthening basic learning skills in a fun and engaging way. The programme created an enjoyable space for learning, curiosity and participation. The event also gained wider visibility through social media posts by Guindy Children’s Park and government officials, helping extend its reach.

We are delighted to receive a ₹16 lakh marketing vehicle from Bosch to strengthen the promotion and marketing of palm leaf products in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. The initiative supports 100 palm leaf artisans by helping them expand their craft from just 5 products to over 25 varieties while increasing average monthly incomes from ₹7,000 to ₹12,000.

The vehicle will enhance market access, boost sales, and bring these eco-friendly products to wider markets across and beyond Tirunelveli district. We are also excited to launch our e-commerce platform, www.panaiangadi.com, through which we aim to connect the artisan made products to rest of India. Our heartfelt thanks to the Bosch team for their continued partnership in empowering rural artisans and strengthening sustainable livelihoods.

Hand in Hand India's Recycle Guardians proudly participated in the Environmental Awareness Beach Clean-up Programme at Poompuhar, Mayiladuthurai District, led by the District Collector and joined by various government departments. Our team administered the Environmental & Sustainability Pledge and highlighted the impact of the Coastal Circularity Project.
The Mayiladuthurai District Collector appreciated Hand in Hand India's contributions towards coastal conservation and directed officials to issue a Certificate of Appreciation to the organisation. The event also highlighted our strong collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) and other government stakeholders, reflecting the collective commitment to advancing environmental sustainability and coastal conservation in the district.

Hand in Hand India proudly inaugurated its 15th STEM Lab at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thirukazhukundram, under Phase II of the NRFSI CSR initiative. The event was attended by the Chief Educational Officer of Chengalpattu, School Management Committee members, teachers, students, Hand in Hand India officials, and our technical partner, Infinite Engineers. The new STEM Lab will provide 350 students with access to experiential, technology-enabled learning.

Building on the success of six STEM Labs in Thiruvallur under Phase I, the initiative has now expanded to 12 schools in Phase II, benefitting over 2,500 children this year. By creating engaging spaces for innovation and hands-on learning, the programme is equipping young minds with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

At the Pahal - Nurturing Lives Skill Development Institute in Ankleshwar, Bharuch district, Gujarat, Hand in Hand India, with support from Alivus Lifesciences, organised a health camp to improve access to preventive healthcare for vocational trainees from tribal and economically vulnerable communities.
Health screening identified 18 women with anaemia, while 106 trainees received awareness sessions on nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyles. Those diagnosed received Iron and Folic Acid supplementation, counselling, and follow-up guidance, with severe cases referred for specialised care. Beyond improving health awareness, the timely intervention helped reduce absenteeism among trainees, enabling them to continue their skill development with better health and confidence.

On World Youth Skills Day, we celebrate the power of skills to transform lives and create lasting opportunities. This inspiring story from Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, showcases how the Construction Skill Training for Youth initiative, supported by Aadhar Housing Finance in partnership with Hand in Hand India, is equipping rural youth with industry-relevant skills, practical experience and the confidence to build sustainable careers. Through this initiative, 200 young people have gained a new pathway to sustainable livelihoods, opening doors to meaningful employment and brighter futures for themselves and their families.
