Remarkable Performance!
We are proud to congratulate P. Akul Sai of Class XI for his remarkable performance at the Andhra Pradesh State Swimming Championship, held on 18 & 19 July 2026 in Visakhapatnam. Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, Akul Sai secured a Silver Medal in the 50m Freestyle and Bronze Medals in the 100m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, and 100m Backstroke. He also achieved an impressive 4th place in the 200m Backstroke, finishing the championship with a total of four medals. His outstanding achievement is a testament to his hard work, perseverance, and sporting excellence. Congratulations to Akul Sai and his coaches on this well-deserved success. We wish him many more accomplishments in the future.

Swimming Medals Haul!
RMK Residential Senior Secondary School delivered an outstanding performance at the Chennai City Swimming Championship held on 4th July 2026 at the Chennai Sports Centre, Kovilambakkam, Chennai. Our swimmers won a remarkable 60 medals, comprising 24 Gold, 22 Silver, and 14 Bronze medals. The team also secured three Individual Championship Cups, with Akul Sai winning 5 Gold medals, Vaishnow claiming 5 Gold medals, and Nagulan earning 3 Gold and 2 Silver medals. Adding to this glorious achievement, RMK emerged as the Overall Champion, lifting the Overall Winner’s Cup with an impressive 252 points, while ACES finished as the runners-up with 194 points. Congratulations to all the swimmers and coaches for their dedication, hard work, and exceptional performance.

Tennis Competition Winners
Our students delivered an outstanding performance at the Inter-School Tennis Competition organised by Annai Violet School, Chitlapakkam. In the Junior category, Master Loswith and Jiya emerged as semi-finalists in the boys’ and girls’ events respectively. In the Senior category, Master Rishick Roshan secured the Second Place, while Master Yuvraj and Master Bharatwaj finished as semi-finalists. Heartiest congratulations to our talented students and dedicated coaches on this wonderful achievement. Wishing them many more successes ahead!

Our students participated in the Vels Inter-School Badminton Tournament on 15th July 2026. In Singles Khirthana was the Winner and Doubles Laasya and Khirthana were the Winners. Congratulations to the winners. In the boys category Nathan and Likith Choudary were the winners in the Boys Doubles category.

Investiture Ceremony 2026

The Investiture Ceremony of RMK Residential Senior Secondary School was held with great pride and dignity on 11th July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in the RMKRSSS Auditorium. The event marked the formal installation of the newly elected Student Council members, who pledged to uphold the values of leadership, responsibility, and service.

The ceremony was graced by Shri Yalamanchi Pradeep, Secretary, RMK Group of Institutions, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. N. Anbuchezhian, Principal of R.M.D. Engineering College, as the Guest of Honour. They were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mrs. Sapna Sankhla, along with the staff and students.

The dignitaries presented portfolios to the newly appointed Student Council members, symbolizing the trust and responsibility entrusted to them. In their inspiring addresses, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline, teamwork, and leading by example. They encouraged the young leaders to carry out their duties with dedication and confidence.

The ceremony concluded on a solemn and inspiring note, with the student leaders taking an oath to serve the school with sincerity and commitment. The event was a memorable occasion that celebrated leadership, inspired responsibility, and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing future leaders.
