Our students’ inspiring Drug-Free Campaign, led with purpose and responsibility, has been featured in The Times of India – Education Edition. Heartfelt thanks to The Times of India, Education Edition for recognising and amplifying our students’ powerful message for a healthier, safer society. 🙏

We are delighted to share that Sainath M. and Saimithun K. of Grade 10 are among the privileged few students selected to be part of "Vetri Padikkattu" — the series of quiz competitions conducted by IIT Madras in collaboration with DD Podhigai.

As part of this incredible experience, they also had the opportunity to visit the Research Centre and Heritage Centre at IIT Madras.

It is also pertinent to mention that students from our school have secured admission at IIT for the last two consecutive years. Our school is formally partnered with IIT Madras under the School Connect Program, through which many students get the opportunity to take up short-term courses at various IITs across India.

The students and staff of 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚, Mannivakkam, celebrated the 𝟖𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫. From singing patriotic songs and delivering a Tamil speech highlighting the contributions of women in the freedom movement and the role of Tamil literature and poetry in India’s independence, to English speeches on “𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 “𝐌𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲”, it was truly a vibrant celebration to witness.

𝐃𝐫. 𝐍. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧, the Founder Chairman, 𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬. He reflected on the recognition Indians receive in the global arena for their contributions and intelligence, and concluded that it is the responsibility of every citizen to strengthen the Nation’s economic power. He urged all to become the kind of Indian every Indian can be proud of, upholding uncompromising values and devotion to the Nation.

𝐓. 𝐍. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐞𝐧 of Grade 12 and 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢 of Grade 7, two archers of Natesan who had won 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘀 in the Southern India 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐎𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, were presented with a cash award of ₹𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 each as a mark of motivation and encouragement for their display of talent. The awards were given by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐠, a well-known mountaineer and archer, founder of the Well Wishers Trekking Club, and an archery coach.
