Sri Ram Dayal Khemka Vivekananda Vidyalaya commenced its humble beginning in 1974 at Tondiarpet with 35 students was shifted to Thiruvottriyur in 1983 to its own land which is situated in the coastal suburb of Chennai.. By the grace of God and ceaseless efforts of service minded persons, the school has made a phenomenal growth and blossomed out as a fine institution with a student enrolment of 3145 and faculty strength of 110.
