Automobile manufacturers across the world are investing heavily into research on driverless cars as are the next revolution in personal mobility since the introduction of the Model T by Henry Ford.
Meanwhile in India, Dr Roshy John has developed Indias first Driverless car based on the Tata Nano. He applied his experience in Robotics to develop the autonomous vehicle, on a virtual platform and later, on an actual physical car.

For those fortunate ones in Chennai who have internet connection still intact and kids at home here's something that you can keep them engaged with. Hopefully will make them happy and spruce their interest in computer science. There are 4 courses
Course 1 - ages 4 - 6
Course 2 & 3 - age 6 to 18 (try course 3 after finishing course 2)
Course 4 - ages 10+ (after course 2 & 3)
If you want their learning to be supervised, please let me know. I can create a student access under me as a teacher and email you their access code where I will be able to supervise their learning (please send me your email contact to [email protected])
Else, you can create a student login for them yourself and give them access. Either case, I sincerely feel, it will benefit them.
The site is absolutely free and can be accessed at
