Months of work, countless hours in the workshop, and finally seeing it here at Buddh was a feeling we can’t really put into words.
There’s always that little bit of nervousness when the car goes through inspection. Seeing that ‘cleared’ felt like a huge weight off our shoulders.
This one had us going through every little detail we had worked on. A lot of preparation, a lot of questions, and a lot of thinking on our feet.
We knew our numbers, but defending them in front of the judges was a different feeling altogether. Definitely one of the more intense parts of the day.
Looking back at all the work that went into the car, this was where we got to put all those decisions on the table and defend them.
After spending months working on the car, finally getting the chance to explain our design felt incredibly rewarding. Nervous, but excited.
Every question made us think twice, and every answer felt like a small win. This was where all those late nights started to feel worth it.
It’s one thing to see the results on a screen, and another to stand there and explain every decision behind them. We were nervous, but proud of the work we had put in.
A pretty simple moment, but one we were definitely waiting for. Seeing the car on the scales and finally getting that number was oddly satisfying.
One of the moments where everyone goes quiet and watches closely. We just had to trust the work we had put into the car.
And as the test continued, all that focus finally paid off. Another part of the static events done.
Fuelled up and ready for the next set of tests. The car was filled up before heading into the tilt and noise tests.
Watching the car go through the tilt test was definitely a tense moment. We had done the checks beforehand, but seeing it happen in front of you is a different feeling.
A quick test, but one we were still hoping would go exactly as planned. Hearing the car run while everyone waited for the result was a moment in itself.
Somewhere between all the testing, running around and trying to keep everything together, we managed to get a picture with the people who made it happen.
