Children of Swabodhini participated. at the Rota. talent contest conducted by Rotary Club of Madras T.Nagar and Neeta Memorial Charitable Trust at Kamaraj Arangam, Teynampet. Dance , Fashion show art and group singing were various competitions being held at the venue. Kudos to our team Swabodhini Staff for enthusiastically helping these Kids to take their best foot forward and building their confidence.

We are proud of you Sri Kala , for receiving the Best Teachers award for Special Education from the honourable Chennai District Collector TMT. Rashmi.S. Zagade.

It’s festive time and once again our enthusiastic team Swabodhini has added to the colours and taste of the season. We look forward to celebrating many more together.

A project that has been in the making for close to a year now...a large facility with built up space of 14,000 Sq.ft and a playground meant for children with special needs was renovated by Chennai Port Authority for exclusive use by Swabodhini School and Vocational Center for Special Children. Kamarajar Port Limited and Chennai port Authority are also providing support for infrastructure and operational expenses for this center which is meant to serve the under served population of North Chennai and in particular children with special needs.
The facility was inaugurated on 30th Aug 2024 by Shri. Sunil Paliwal IAS, Chairperson- Chennai Port Authority and Kamarajar Port Limited in the august presence of Shri. S. Viswanathan IAS, Deputy Chairperson, Chennai Port Authority and Smt. J.P. Irene Cynthia, Managing Director, Kamarajar Port Limited and the Board of Directors of Kamarajar Port Limited. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to them and the entire team of Chennai Port Authority and Kamarajar Port Limited without whose support this project would not have been possible.

Tomorrow is a big day for us at Swabodhini. Please join us for the inauguration of our new facility in Tondiarpet which is fully supported by Chennai Port Authority and Kamarajar Port Limited. We will be happy if you can grace the occasion with your presence!!

Our 36 th annual sports of Swabodhini at Babu Jagjivan Ram Sports complex , went off very smoothly. Staff and students you really worked hard to make the event a success. Mr S. Ravi ( Chief Guest ) past president Rotary Club of Madras and Mr N.K. Gopinath ( Guest of honour) also past president Rotary Club of Madras we were honoured to have you both. Thank you so much for being with us throughout the event. Team Acqueon thank you for your immense support and enthusiasm for our sports day and appreciate some of you from the team who arrived from Bangalore to be with us. Thanks to all parents for attending the sports meet.
