The Art of Letting Go!
Let go of jealousy and pride,
Let go of anger that keeps you tied.
Let go of obsessions of all your possessions,
And delusions
That causes confusions.
Let go of hatred, fear and apathy,
Let go of all the pain that causes you agony.
Let go of heart break, heart ache and pain,
Let go of all the elements that make you insane.
Let go of anxiety and sorrow,
Let go of worrying about tomorrow,
Unless it's a deed that is evil
Let go of all the madness that makes you weak and feeble.
Let go of laziness, mizerliness and procrastination,
Let go of debt, regression and aggression,
When you know you are born to win,
Let go of negativity and sin.
Empower your body, soul and mind,
Be generous, be kind,
Not just to others but also to you,
Do yourself a favour and let go of sadness too.
Allah says,
الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;
-Sura Aal-E-Imran, Ayah 134
