Dr. Prathap C Reddy, Founder Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals Group envisaged India in which health care of the highest standards, equivalent to that found anywhere in the world would be available to every citizen of the country. To attain this objective he firmly believed that research of the highest quality relative to the needs of the country should be integral part of the activities of the Apollo hospitals.
