Bicycle trip to thiruvanmiyur beach, conducted by EEA, is successful with around 20+ people having fun in the early morning tides of the bay of Bengal.

With 8 teams participating, EEA has conducted intra department football tournament on September 28,29. Thanks to everyone who took part in it.

With 10 teams and over 100 students and 8 professors taking part, the EEA Football Tournament was a huge success. We would like to thank all those who participated in the event.
Even though the initial matches were mostly dominated by a few teams, the semifinals and the finals were closely contested. Team 1 beat Team 6 narrowly in a nail biting finale with the scoreboard reading 2-1.

It was a very illuminating Friday evening as our HoD, Prof. Devendra Jalihal explained the evolution of different broadcast technologies. We're grateful to Prof. Jalihal for sharing his knowledge and wisdom with us

Today is the 157th birthday of the great Indian engineer Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, in whose memory we celebrate the Engineer's day. He was the chief engineer responsible for the construction of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mandya district of Karnataka and also the chief designer of the flood protection system for the city of Hyderabad.

As students of an "Institute of Technology", let us make a resolution to be more curious about our surroundings and be more enthusiastic about understanding how stuff works, like trying to figure out where the institute LAN has problems (when it doesn't work) or trying to fix a malfunctioning tube light or ceiling fan in our rooms. Let us not be oblivious to the joy of seeing what we fixed work.
