Designation : Copy Editor / Language Editor (English/Tamil)

Job Description: Editor
Responsibilities -
Editing copy, written by reporters or features writers, to remove spelling mistakes and grammatical errors
Rewriting material so that it flows or reads better and adheres to the house style of Sakthi publication
Ensuring that a story fits a particular word count by cutting or expanding material as necessary
Proofreading complete pages produced by other sub-editors using the main basic proofing symbols
Keeping up to date with sector issues, e.g. by reading related publications
DTP operator/ Graphic Designer/ Illustrator Position : DTP operator/ Graphic Designer/ Illustrator Status of Vacancy Close Job Description : 1. Strong knowledge of Indesign, Corel Draw and Photoshop/ Must be able to create page settings as per the intructions given..
