How does photochromic sun glasses works?

The photochromic effect is the reversible change in the absorption of light by a substance when it is exposed to light of different wavelengths. This change in absorption is accompanied by a corresponding change in the color of the substance. The photochromic effect is often used in eyeglasses that are designed to darken in bright light and lighten in low light. The lenses contain a photochromic compound that changes its molecular structure when exposed to UV light, causing the lens to darken. When the UV light is no longer present, the lens returns to its original, lighter color.

Young-Scientist happy to announce new Tinkercad based online electronic course for Kids ages 10+.

Tinkercad Circuits is the easiest way to get your kids started with learning electronics. Using Tinkercad interactive circuit editor, kids can explore, connect, and code virtual projects with a bottomless toolbox of simulated electronic components.

The following circuit projects will be done in this course with the help of Tinkercad. Our facilitator will teach the kids how to use Tinkercad to build these circuits

1.Arduino project Buzzer and LED
2.Blink LED in different pattern using Arduino
3.Controlling two DC motors with Arduino
4.Seven segment display using Arduino

Eligibility: Class V and above
Age- 10 years and above
Duration: 4 sessions, 4 hrs (Each session runs for 60 minutes)
