We update you on everything that goes on here at the school via email and facebook. We send you pictures, so you don’t miss a moment and reminders on your kids activities. We have many field trips a year that complements the classroom knowledge. We celebrate everything - Birthdays, Festivals, General Events, National importance, Friendship, Family, Love and Peace by making them Dress up and have fun. We organize weekly assemblies where each child gets an opportunity to break their shell and step out. We conduct cool games and competitions regularly for the kids .We reward and acknowledge every effort via Weekly achievement cards, awards for kids and parents and we conduct our Annual prize day in auditoruim and Sports day in a ground. We make “The Coolest Portfolio” and ensure that every child has the complete collection of their best moments, activities and progress achieved through out the year. We give you Your child’s “ Assessment card “ which is assessed and reviewed based on Children’s performance and growth all through the year by monitoring their development in 8 SMART - Body , Word , Art , Music , Self , People , Nature and Logic . I would like to expose a situation. If your children (or grandchildren) don’t learn to play with children with special needs at school, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight explaining it to them. Because, although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing it, like I did, for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind to these beautiful children!

PONGALO PONGAL. Praying that let all these viruses leave us and let us all be safe, strong and healthy. Though we are closed temporarily these two years, we never forget our children, parents, staffs and who all were part of our 10 yr journey. Waiting to open when everything becomes normal like earlier. 🙏🙏

Give them puzzles of any form - Children love it. Fixing, arranging, sorting, matching, classifying puzzles is enjoyed by each child. They love to complete it in whatever way we give them. Whether it is 2, 3, 10 or >10 piece puzzles, they just complete it. Arranging alphabets, numbers, planets , anything they simply do it.They find it more interesting when the level of difficulty increases. Solving puzzles improves their cognitive ability thereby making them to think differently.
