Avartana Foundation is an organisation that is involved with the propagation and preservation of the Indian Classical Arts. Apart from regular concerts, performances, lectures and discussions, Avartana Foundation aims to reinvent the process of archival with specific reference to Carnatic Music and hopes to create new content of existing masters, which will serve as a guide and aid future generations to better understand their historical and traditional lineage.

Vyakhyana is a lecture series started with the idea of creating a platform for the younger generation of performing musicians to present academically oriented lectures, with in-depth research and analysis on a subject that is close to their heart. It is not often that we get the space and time to work on a presentation that requires effort and time. So this effort is aimed at facilitating this exchange of knowledge by tapping into their learning and experience.
Subsequently, we are also going to be releasing our past lectures for the benefit of students, artistes and Rasikas. Do follow this space for more updates.
