Hello friends (participants), the rules for Non-technical events will be given on the spot. Many more non technical events (not mentioned in the poster) will also be conducted.... :)
CONTRIVA '15

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PARTICIPANTS:
Registration fee is Rs.100/- per person, and he/she will be allowed to participate maximum of '4 events' including both technical and non-technical. Prices with certificates will be provided for the first 3 winners in each event.And food will be provided for the Registered participants...

Event: "POSTER COMPENDIUM"(Poster presentation)
Rules:
1)Printed posters in A3/ A3+ Sheets should be brought by the competitors, designed by themselves.
2)Topic may be any but must be technical and related to Civil Engineering
3)Creative ideas/design will be awarded, and Jury's decision will be final...

CUBE CRACKING :

RULES/GUIDELINES :
1) Participants have to cast and bring their Specimen (cube).
2) Concrete Cube shall be made with any admixtures.
3) Age of curing : 7 days.
4) Jury's decision will be the final.

"RECKONING-QUANTITY SURVEYING" : Why this event ?!
This event is set to develop your talent in estimation and quantity surveying, bcoz a good quantity surveyor should know it very well..So we introduced this event !!!

RULES/GUIDELINES :
1) Plan, cross section will be given to you.
2) Duration : 20 mins.
3) Jury's decision will be the final.

"REPLICA SIMULATION-Model making" : An Event which helps you to manifest your inventiveness !! and you are supposed to create a replica models of a civil engineering structure given by us within a stipulated time..

RULES :
1) A maximum of 3 participants in a team.
2) Materials will be provided and it should be used efficiently.
3) Jury's decision will be the final.

"INTERLOCUTORY-Technical Quiz" : A brain storming event which assess your knowledge in civil engineering stream. It is a group event which mainly focuses on recent trends and advances in civil engineering !!

RULES :
1) Maximum 2 participants for a team.
2) PRELIMS will have to be cracked to enter into the next round.
3) Calculator and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in this event.
4) Jury's decision will be the final.
