Keeping in mind the rising significance of 3D Printing, a group of visionary students founded the 3D Narendra Modi at the Global Housing Technology Challenge.
The 3D printing club is currently focused on the Fused filament fabrication technology. The club has build printers with cartesian, CoreXY, H-bot and SCARA architecture with the primary focus being on speed, print quality and build volume. The club has also looked into the types of thermoplastic materials with which 3D printing is possible. The club has extensively used PLA, ABS, PETG and TPU and

The summer school is a month-long learning session designed to enable you to explore various tech fields right from the beginner level and make an informed choice of what suits and interests you the most.
The 3D Printing Club, Center for Innovation, IIT Madras has lined up 10 exciting sessions for you which will cover all aspects of 3D printing right from CAD modeling to post processing, and the only prerequisite required is enthusiasm to learn.
Note: Summer school is open only to students of IIT Madras.
