Happy Independence Day! Little lambs school celebrated India in a big way with marching, dancing and acting. So proud to see the children showcasing their talents and enjoying this special day. The boy who acted as Mahatma Gandhi had shaved his head for the part, talk about being a dedicated actor!

Finally, after two years of waiting, we are off to Sweden! Karlskrona, here we come! If you want to meet us, taste Indian food, watch Indian dance and hear more about how Little lambs transform lives, you can come to Jämjö församlingshem on Thursday at 18.30.

Happy Independence Day! Since all schools are still closed, our celebration had to happen at home this year. Our kindergarten students sent some great photos of how they dressed up as freedom fighters. Waiting to meet them all in real life again and not just online...I guess we have to learn patience from Gandhi and all the others who waited a long time for the country to be liberated!

The risks of keeping the schools closed for almost a year...

Schools in India have been closed since March. The costs to children are mounting. The hiatus is without precedent in the country’s history.
