We ended 2023 with a performance and a workshop by Smt. Gowthami Mahesh for 'Art in the city', a wonderful initiative taken by Dr. Sandhya Sankar to propogate the art of Bharatanatyam to common public. It is indeed a great opportunity to artistes who are invited to Tirupur city to perform. Thanks to her for inviting my student, Smt. Gowthami Mahesh in the 12th edition of Art in the city. A special mention about the rasikas who thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance - no phones, no videos, no murmuring. Amazed to have such supportive people whose appreciation was the best gift for my disciple. Thanks to the students and parents of Sai Krishna School of Fine Arts, for their excellent hospitality, support and co-operation.
Students were also given an opportunity to learn a keerthanam from Gowthami through the workshop organised by Dr. Sandhya Sankar. Kudos to the dedicated and committed students of art who are willing to learn and explore new items. Thanks to the parents of the students for their wonderful feedback.
