THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA The Commission performs the following main
functions :
1. Conduct of Election to Parliament
2. Conduct of Election to State Legislatures3. Conduct of Election to the office of the President and Vice-
President.

5% of x = Rs. 5x/100 = Rs. x/20
i.e. 1687.50 = 75/100*x/20=3x/80
3x = 1687.50*80
x = 1.687.50*80/3 = Rs.45000

sunil decided to donate 5% of his salary. on the day of donation he decided to donate lesser and donated Rs.1687.50. Which was 75% of what he had decided earlier. how much is sunil's salary?
