Great excitement seen in children as it is actually the time for the play of colours. Children and teachers took special delight in spraying colour water and throwing colour powders on one another.

Most of our children love pretending to be doctors, to extend children's learning we organised a dental camp at our centre with the help of Sathyabama Dental hospital. It was a great experience for children as they learnt how to brush, what's healthy for teeth etc, in a fun interactive way.
Dentists screened for dental problems and at the same time spread awareness as well as promoted oral hygiene practices in children.

Kiwi Children were excited to make lemonade all by themselves. Teachers had to help only for squeezing the lemon as the task needed a lot of strength. Children carefully listened to the teacher and followed the instructions for preparing lemonade and finally enjoyed drinking it and felt much proud about themselves.

Make believe play is a ubiquitous part of Early Childhood. Teachers set-up a make believe pond with rubber ducks and artificial fishes in it. Children enjoyed pretending to fish and explored the properties of sand, water and discussed about the different textures they touched.

It is open-ended and messy, but it was a great way of exploring the properties of chalk powder and water. Children mixed both the ingredients and observed the changes happened. They extended their learning by discussing about the colours, the quantity of water/powder and about measurements as they tried different sizes of spoons.

새해 복 많이 받으세요 Happy Korean Lunar new year.

We celebrated Korean new year today at KiwiLearners with the help of our Korean parents. Children enjoyed Korean traditional dance, sang Korean new year song, made lucky pouch and hand fan as a part of the celebration.
