Annual Day Celebration
The Annual Day of our institution was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Actor Bala Saravanan, whose presence was joyful and exciting.
Mrs. V.Meenakshi tamil PGT was awarded for her 25 years of remarkable service.
Teachers were felicitated with awards for producing out standing results in the board examination and the management also recognised teachers & staff with maximum attendance.
Students who excelled in the board examinations, March 2025 were awarded prizes and certificates in recognition of their hard work and dedication
The programme began on a divine note with an invocation dance, “Ganesha Vandhanam” which was followed by a dance performance celebrating rich culture and tradition of our State.
Students performed lively folk dances of Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, highlighting the long standing of rich customs and rhythms of these regions. The school choir presented a soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram,” along with the inspiring song “Together We Can Change the World,” spreading a message of unity and hope.
A forest story was beautifully portrayed through a creative Jungle Dance. A graceful dance drama creating an awareness on climate hazards stole the show. This performance by our students created a deeper impact in everyone.This remarkable performance had earlier won our school an award at the Purple Umbrella Festival held at Bharat Bhavan, New Delhi in November.
The Annual Day celebration concluded on a joyful note, leaving the parents and grandparents inspired and proud of the talents and achievements of the children.

IGNITE PROJECT 2026
IGNITE 2026 ,an Exhibition with working and explanatory models on various topics in different subjects was held on the 21st of February 2026 in our school.This project showcased the student’s creativity and skills across different subjects. Models depicting uses of palm tree, students dressed up like Shakespearen Characters , fairy tale characters, Models of various satellites of our country,Farm to Market project,Journey of old method of education to latest technological methods stole the show. All students participated with great enthusiasm.This project taught them about most important life skill “Team Work”.

High School trip to Karumbakkam Farm
A Trip to rejoice and relish
Students of Classes VI to VIII went to Karumbakkam, a green village near Chengalpattu on the 14th of February 2026.Around 123 students with 13 teachers had a fantastic time going around the fields and witnessing the step by step farming process. They had an opportunity to visit an ancient temple near Karumbakkam.Few students performed Bharatanatyam in the temple and all the other students cheered and enjoyed their performance.They visited Brickklin Manufacturing factory.The students observed the process of making bricks through a big machine. The molded bricks are dried and heated in another chamber. All the students had a real life time experience in brickklin factory. Then students were taken to Ellen Sharma Farm. Boys were allowed to bathe in pumpset and girls were taken to the fields in farmland.Some students fed the animals in the farm. Students were served with delicious food made by farm people. All the students and teachers were taken for a tractor ride and enjoyed a lot. Finally students thanked the farm people, drivers, teachers who made their day great and the happiest one!

FAREWELL CELEBRATION
On 11-02-2026,Wednesday Students of Classes X and XII had their farewell ,an all religion prayer meeting .The ritual of this programme always is that the students light candles and read scriptures from holy books. Students shared their experiences, memories, and expressed their gratitude towards our institution , Management, Administration and teachers. Our Correspondent Akka blessed the students for their bright future. Students dispersed after a fantastic Lunch.

RYLA –ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARDS
The RYLA [Rotary youth leadership awards] programme was conducted in MGR Janaki College on 31st January in which three schools participated.27 students from XI std and Vice Principal Mr.Ganesan & Mrs.Sriveni Muthurajan PG Asst. attended the Rotary Club programme. The event was organised by Rotary Club of Thiruvanmiyur. Mrs.Sudha Murali, its President was the inspiration behind. The programmme started with National Anthem and Prayer song was by our Ellen Sharma students.

• Cybercrime
• How to be successful
• Quotes to develop skills & talent
Students were involved in various hands on activities which dealt in improving their concentration and made them realise the importance of team work.
Students took part actively in the programme with great enthusiasm. They had a greater insight in to how to develop communication skills and be confident.
